A post (for lack of a creative title).

Last week, I was frantically trying to finish my Bible study before I met with my weekly neighborhood group. Clearly I can't say Lima Bean was getting in my way, but I will say she was making it difficult for me to finish. In attempt to entertain her while I finished, I put in the Veggie Tales Sing Along she got for Christmas from her Pops and Mimi. Do you think she liked it? :)

Today, Lima Bean and I met a dear friend of mine from Cheyenne for lunch. It was wonderful to have some girl time and see her sweet boy. Lima Bean got dressed up in a cute lil number my friend Allie gave her. Here's our little fashionista...

It was nice to get out today. I feel like I might turn in to a recluse if I'm not careful since I've become so accustomed to staying home all the time. I'm going to have to start giving myself pep talks about being more proactive on meeting friends during the week - and LB is just going to have to get used to being a social butterfly (which already seems to come natural to her). I thrive on friendships, but if I'm not willing to make the effort to make some friends then I'm not going to be doing much thriving. I feel disconnected here, but in all reality, it's my own fault. So here's to being bold, putting on "real" clothes for a change, and stepping out into the social world. Wish me luck - I'm about to take Colorado Springs by storm. :)
