Many of you have been asking about the Waldo Canyon Fire that is engulfing Colorado Springs and if we are ok. First off, we are safe and very far from the fire. The fire is on the west side of town, about 30 miles away for us. In order for it to reach us, it would first have to take over the whole town. So, I'm thinking we don't have to worry! Thank you for those concerned, however, we appreciate your thoughts. We have good friends. :)
Nevertheless, there are many in danger. The fire has reached over 15,000 acres and is only 5% contained. The estimated containment date is around July 16. Over 32,500 residents have had to evacuate, many losing their homes. Please be praying for our town!
