Spiritus Sanctus

During our family worship time tonight, Andrew and I read from "The Valley of Vision." If you are unfamiliar with this book of Puritan prayers, I HIGHLY recommend buying it. The book is a wonderful tool to use in personal or family worship.

The prayer today was titled, "Spiritus Sanctus." The prayer begins with these few lines...

"O HOLY SPIRIT,
As the sun is full of light,
the ocean full of water,
Heaven full of glory,
so may my heart be full of thee."

Wow! Now why can't I ever think of amazing lines like that when I pray? :) In all seriousness, may this be our prayer... that our hearts be overflowing with the Spirit, enabling us to sing praises to our Father in Heaven for His tender mercies and unending love.

Love to all.
