Hello crazy drivers.

Greetings from the sunny, warm city of San Diego. It is so incredibly breathtaking. From the green covered mountains to the shiny, blue ocean. My heart leapt as I looked out during landing to see what was before my eyes. Truly spectacular.

Then I got on the roads with these crazies and my opinion quickly changed. Ha! Atlanta drivers are crazy, but California drivers are crazy... with no southern hospitality. :)

I've adjusted my mad driving skills to fit in here, which I must say is a huge change from Cheyenne where everyone drives 40 mph max.

Other than the crazy drivers, however, my trip to CA has been delightful. Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing the cutest CFA Training Director - so sweet - and then I had a few mini assignments where I had to drive around to different stores to photograph particular items off of the menu. After all was said and done, I hopped in the car and drove out to Coronado per my friend Ruthie's suggestion. Oh man was this a site to see.

For the next 3 hours, I walked the coast of the Pacific Ocean, took pics, soaked up the setting sun, and read. Oh it was heavenly... except that I was getting pretty darn-tootin chilly by the end of the evening. After I peeled my frozen self off of the bench, I walked downtown to find a neat restaurant. I was so hungry that I was losing patience trying to find a place. I ended up in a little bistro. Perfect.

I thought you might be a little jealous of my beach escape, so I thought I'd post a few pics of my romantic evening... with myself.

Self portraits.

The end.
